DISTRICT 5870 GOVERNOR RICH KAYE
Rich Kaye is a member of the Killeen Heights Rotary Club. He got his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He served for 20 years as an officer in the US Army including a battalion command during Operation Desert Storm. He retired in 1993 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
After the Army, Rich worked for 17 years in the defense contracting industry with stints at AT&T, L-3 Communications, and Kellogg, Brown & Root.
He also has a MS in industrial design from Kansas State University and an MBA from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Rich has held vitually every leadership position in his club and at the district level and is a member of numerous associations. There is not enough bandwith in this website and newsletter to name every one of the positions he has held. Check out the District 5870 website and be amazed by his record of service to Rotary.
Rich will prompt us today with his view of Rotary's direction and will touch on Rotary's Future Vision initiative which is now 'live' for all clubs.
