RELIEF EFFORT FOR HALLOWEEN FLOODS IN SOUTHEAST AUSTIN

Instead of the Will Hampton Library maintenance project that was planned for this Saturday, we will be aiding in the relief efforts for Halloween floods in southeast Austin. We will be working at a support center to distribute cleaning materials and provide other support to the clean up effort, i.e. we will not be doing deconstruction or cleaning (let those with younger backs and knees take on that work!).

WHEN:  Saturday, November 16th  8:30 a.m.-Noon

WHERE:  Intersection of South Pleasant Valley and Quicksilver (Tents are set up)

DIRECTIONS:  Take William Cannon east of IH35 and turn right on South Pleasant Valley. Quicksilver is about 0.5 miles on the right.

WHAT'S NEEDED:  Cleaning supplies and gloves for the volunteers, if you would like to donate these or $ to purchase.

CARPOOL:  Please call me if you would like to ride together, or organize your own!
