Jack will share information and update us about a project our club will be working on with the Rotario de Rosarito club in Mexico.
CAM Laboral is a state funded facility constructed several years ago in Rosarito to provide trade and technical training for young (teenage) individuals with developmental disabilities. The school’s training programs focus on four areas: - gardening & agriculture -hospitality and baking - construction labor - art. CAM has been particularly successful in placing students in the local hospitality industry where there is a growing demand for labor to support local restaurants and hotels. Project Expenses Although the CAM facility is new and well maintained, it has limited ongoing funding and lacks some essential equipment.
