In 2023, our member Beth suggested our club do an environmental project to meet one of Rotary Internationals Areas of Focus.  She came up with the idea to collect Styrofoam to keep it out of the landfill. Our first collection day was October, 2023 at SFC Farmers Market in Sunset Valley. This shows our first collection. We have collected almost 4,000 pounds of Styrofoam since that day. On August 1, 2026 we collected 56 Styrofoam coolers and 33 contractor bags! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you would like to drop off Styrofoam, here are the guidelines.  Please remove labels and tape to speed up our drop off process. 

 

We are at the SFC Farmer's Market the first Saturday of each month, in the parking lot. Look for the bright green shirts.
